Redomicile

Redomicile advisory for
principals and families moving
more than their passports.

The relocation of the principal and the restructure of the holdings,
sequenced and executed with counsel in every jurisdiction touched.
By introduction. In confidence.

The citizenship industry sells the passport. The balance sheet is the actual move, and we do the whole thing.

We shortlist the jurisdictions on facts, design the structure that
should exist on the other side, sequence the order of operations
with counsel at both ends, and execute: residency, entities, banking,
filings, done.

The mandate suits principals and families relocating for
opportunity, security, tax posture, or the next generation, and those
whose holdings should move even if they themselves do not.

The move takes several forms.

The principal's relocation

You move; the structure moves with you, redesigned for where you are going rather than dragged from where you were.

The family's staged move

Different members, different timetables, one plan. School years, businesses, and elderly parents sequenced without chaos.

The jurisdiction that changed around you

You stayed still; the rules did not. The move made calmly, before it has to be made quickly.

The pre-liquidity move

Relocation considered before a company sale, sequenced with counsel so the timing
is deliberate rather than accidental.

The holdings-only restructure

You stay; the structure moves. Entities,
trusts, and assets redomiciled while your
address never changes.

The process.

Six phases, sequenced with counsel
at both ends.

Most moves run six to twelve months from decision to established; complex estates run longer, deliberately.

I

Screening

The conversation first, under NDA if you prefer. Where you are, where you are drawn, what moves with you, and whether the move survives arithmetic. If it does not, we say so.

II

The comparison

The shortlist built on facts: tax treatment, presence requirements, path to permanence, cost, and the life actually available there. The table below, populated for your corridor.

III

The design

The structure that should exist on the other side, drawn before anything moves. Most redomiciles fail by moving the person and dragging the old structure behind them.

IV

The sequence

The order of operations with counsel at both ends: what must happen before departure, what must wait until after arrival, and the dates
that decide the difference.

V

The move

Residency established, entities formed or migrated, banking opened, assets retitled, filings made. Executed to the sequence, not to enthusiasm.

VI

The settlement

Established, compliant, and documented on the other side: the structure map, the calendar of obligations, and the handover to your standing advisors, or to our Principal Advisory mandate.

Exit rules and arrival rules are different clocks in different countries, and the expensive mistakes happen between them. The sequence phase exists so that no date on this move is accidental.

Both sides of the border.

One move, two legal systems, and a firm that stands across both.

counsel coordinated in both, one sequence, one point of contact

The exit rules and the arrival rules run on different clocks.
The firm stands across both.

Left is what exists; right is what should. The dashed firm bar underneath is the
part the passport brochures leave out: someone has to hold both legal systems
in one sequence.

Why Principals Engage Us

The whole move

Residency, structure, banking, filings, and the family logistics, held in one sequence by one firm. Not a checklist of vendors.

Counsel in both

Departure counsel and arrival counsel
briefed by the same firm, so the exit rules
and the entry rules are read together, not discovered separately.

The structure, redesigned

Built for where you are going, not dragged from where you were. The move is the one moment the architecture can be done properly.

Cross-border, natively

Nine offices across the corridors principals actually use. The destination is usually somewhere we already are.

Discretion, engineered

Who knows, and when, is sequenced like everything else. A move announced by rumour is a move handled badly.

Nothing to sell you

No passports on commission, no property
partnerships, no products. Counsel and
execution, with nothing behind the advice
but the advice.

The comparison, on facts.

The shortlist is built as a table, not a mood.

What we act on.

The firm acts for principals and families making deliberate moves:

Relocation of the person, the holdings, or both, typically with operating businesses, trusts, or multi-entity structures
that make the move consequential.

We coordinate counsel; we do not replace it, and nothing
on this page is tax or legal advice.

Terms are set out plainly in the Engagement Agreement before any work begins.

Asked before most mandates.

Residency, citizenship, or domicile?

Three different legal ideas that the brochures blur. Residency is where you live under the rules; citizenship is the passport; domicile is stickier than both. Which ones your situation turns on is established in the comparison phase, with counsel.

When does the tax office find out?

In the sequence, through the proper filings, on the dates counsel sets. The mandate exists so disclosure happens deliberately and correctly rather than accidentally and late.

What moves and what stays?

Whatever the design says: some entities migrate, some are wound up, some should never move at all. The design phase answers it entity by entity, on paper, before anything is touched.

How long does it take?

Most moves run six to twelve months from decision to established. The constraint is rarely the flight; it is the sequence of exits,
arrivals, and filings either side of it.

Can it be undone?

Moves can be reversed; the costs of reversing them usually cannot. Which is why the comparison phase is deliberately unhurried, and the execution phase deliberately is not.

What does it cost?

The commercial terms are set out plainly in the Engagement Agreement before any work begins, sized to the scope of the move rather than the size of the estate. There are no surprises in our paperwork. The whole point of the sequence is that there are none anywhere else either.

No public references.

The firm does not name clients, counterparties, or terms.

Not in marketing, not in conversation, not after the fact. The
families best placed to vouch for the work are the reason we will
not ask them to. If discretion matters about where you are going, it
should matter to the firm that moves you.

Adjacent to this mandate.

Move once, properly.

Every mandate begins with a conversation. Outline where you are
and where you are drawn, in confidence. If the move survives
arithmetic, we will show you the sequence. If it does not, we will
say that too. Request an Introduction, in confidence. No obligation.
An NDA is available before any detail is shared.
