Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: April 2026

Ladd & Co. ("the firm") is committed to ensuring that its website at laddco.com (the "Website") and its broader communications are accessible to as wide an audience as possible, including individuals with disabilities. This Statement sets out the firm's approach to accessibility, the standards it works towards, and the steps available to anyone who encounters a barrier in accessing the firm's content or services.

1. Standards

The firm endeavours to align the Website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, and neurological conditions.

The firm also has regard, where applicable, to:

  • the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) (Australia) and associated guidance;
  • the Equality Act 2010 (United Kingdom);
  • Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) (United States);
  • accessibility legislation and guidance applicable in other jurisdictions in which the firm operates.

2. What the Firm Does

In the design, development, and maintenance of the Website, the firm seeks to:

  • structure pages logically using semantic HTML, with clear headings and reading order;
  • provide sufficient colour contrast between text and background;
  • enable keyboard navigation throughout the Website;
  • provide meaningful alternative text for non-decorative images;
  • ensure that interactive elements are clearly identifiable and operable;
  • present text in a manner that allows for resizing without loss of content or functionality;
  • avoid content that flashes in a manner likely to trigger seizures;
  • support the use of common assistive technologies, including screen readers and screen magnifiers;
  • design pages to be responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

The firm reviews the accessibility of the Website periodically and addresses identified issues as part of its ongoing maintenance.

3. Known Limitations

Despite the firm's efforts, certain aspects of the Website may not yet fully conform to the firm's accessibility goals, including (without limitation):

  • third-party content embedded on the Website (such as video players or document viewers), the accessibility of which is determined by the third-party provider;
  • legacy documents or media published prior to the firm's current accessibility standards;
  • experimental or non-essential interactive elements that may have known accessibility limitations.

The firm continues to work to address these limitations and welcomes feedback from users.

4. Alternative Channels

The firm recognises that some users may prefer or require alternative channels for accessing information or communicating with the firm. The firm is willing to:

  • provide information in alternative formats on reasonable request;
  • accept communications by email, telephone, or other reasonable means agreed with the user;
  • coordinate with a user's representative where appropriate.

To request information in an alternative format or to discuss alternative communication arrangements, please contact office@laddco.com.

5. Feedback and Reporting Accessibility Issues

The firm welcomes feedback on the accessibility of the Website and its communications. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or have suggestions for how the firm can improve accessibility, please contact:

Ladd & Co. Email: office@laddco.com Subject line: "Accessibility — [brief description]"

Please include in your message:

  • a description of the issue or feedback;
  • the page or document concerned (where applicable);
  • the device, browser, and any assistive technology you were using; and
  • your contact details, if you would like a response.

The firm will acknowledge receipt of accessibility feedback promptly and will work to address legitimate accessibility issues within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Continuous Improvement

The firm regards accessibility as an ongoing commitment rather than a one-time exercise. The firm reviews this Statement and the underlying practices periodically and updates them to reflect changes in standards, technology, and the firm's understanding of user needs.
